to help in raising money for charity?
There was a link posted on the dating service message boards about this.
*For Immediate Release: Bloggers bare all for breast cancer research!*October 1, 2005 --Boobies. Although they come in all shapes and sizes (large, small, saggy and perky), they have one thing in common: The ability to develop cancer.Even though there is no cure yet, the fourth annual Blogger Boobie-Thon is doing its part to make cancer a thing of the past. From October 1-8, bloggers from across the globe can submit pictures of bare and covered breasts to raise money for breast cancer causes.Founded in 2002 by Florida blogger Robyn Pollman (www.shutterblog.com,) the Boobie-Thon has grown into a well-known event, raising over $17,000 for breast cancer and blogger-charity causes, with over 1000 people contributing pictures. The event raised $8696 in 2004, with $455 going to a secondary charity: AIDS Rock the Walk. The rest of the donations go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.Featured in Self Magazine’s “Body Confidence Awards” in 2004, both founders and participants are hoping to generate exposure and donations for a worthy cause. In response to Hurricane Katrina, this year donors can choose to donate to either The Red Cross or the Komen Foundation. Both male and female bloggers can submit pictures of their breasts. The covered boobies are featured on the free area of the site. The price of viewing the bare breasts is $50, made payable to Komen or The Red Cross. A copy of an e-receipt is needed in order to gain the password to the “Not Safe for Work” portion of the site.We will be happy to assist you in finding participants to fit the angle of your story. For more information, visit the official website at http://www.boobiethon.com and/or contact Robyn, event coordinator, using this contact form.

So, would YOU submit a picture of your body to help raise funds to help with researching & finding a cure for breast cancer or to raise funds to help the hurricane victims? (Bearing in mind that your face would not be included in the photo, nor would your name?)

Umm....NO!
They would prolly make more if they put up a pic of my oobies and threatened to leave it up until people emptied their wallets.
Serious saggage. :-(
*snort* @ Seana!
I would. As long as it is just my boobs.
It is for a good cause, and for awareness.
And they are just boobs...everyones got em.
It is, syren. I read the information about it. If you submit a pic with your face, they will edit before posting the pic. And if you want, they will include your name in a master list that is not in the same order that the pics are displayed, but that's only if you request it.
They will even accept & post pics of men's chest/oobies.
Well, since they don't post the face or name, I'd submit Breezy's bodacious boobies *grin* I believe there were oobie pics taken in DC LOL.
I think I'm going to do this. I'm not going to send a pic of them completely uncovered, but yeah, I'm going to do it. Some of the pictures are actually quite tastefully done.
I'm gonna do it.
ok syren talked me into it, I'll submit my sagging man-boobs too. We're doing a sampling amongst ourselves first right ;-), I have to check the submissions for authenticity. *grin*
I'll think about it. *blush*
Syren & cstl, that is so cool that you're both going to do this. I will be submitting my pic tonight.
I checked the web site, and went through the sample page. Several shots are of cleavage (subject is wearing a bra and a shirt that is just unbuttoned kind of low). Some are only wearing a bra. It's not just naked oobies.
LOL Nookie! I'll have to check out the site first.
