Usually I'd like to have at least an hour. If DH is out of town, then there are all the animals to take care of so add another 1/2 hour to that. It takes a lot longer if I'm going out somewhere special.

LOL. Seems like most peeps don't like mushy green stuff. I tried making Dahl the other day from regular lentils (usually use red). It turned out a horrid green mush. I couldn't bring myself to eat it. *blech*
