And as much as I really don't need to be eating at McDonald's, (and I really don't like their hamburgers), I went there repeatedly. However, I didn't realize until the 2nd week, that they were giving the dolls away 2 per week. So I missed out on Glinda the Good Witch. Then, tonight, I just realized that I ended up with two of the Tin Man, and two of the Wicked Witch of the East. So, not only do I not have Glinda, I don't have the ScareCrow, and whatever the other one was. Glinda's the good witch of the North, right? So I'm assuming the 8th doll is the good witch of the South.
My OCD is such that it just kills me to have an incomplete set of something. I can't believe I didn't notice until tonight that I had duplicates. (Duplicates bother me, too.) It is going to drive me nuts that I don't have all of them. I'll probably just give them to my niece. I really can't stand to not have the whole set.

You need to get on Craigslist and offer to trade with peeps who have duplicates of the ones you need.
Oh I wish I had known! We have the tin man but they stopped giving them out already. But I would have tried to get you what you need! Belle does not like them. She preferred the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toy that was given to boys so she would get that instead.
I know, would have, could have.
Oh and for the record? They are creepy. :)

Arkie, go to McD's at a time when they are not busy and see if they have left-over dolls you can purchase. Often they do and they're happy to get rid of them. The cost to just buy the toys used to be $1 - but that was a couple of years ago.
I don't know how popular this group of toys was, but unless it's a super hit there are probably left-over dolls sitting in a box somewhere waiting for the local McD's to return them to corporate McD's.

Thanks for the suggestion, Swami! I've been thinking about trying that, but wasn't sure if there would be a point. If that doesn't work, I'll be trying HD & bravie's suggestions.

I did not know they had these! Did you go to the other McD's around your area? Maybe somebody has something left. My ex-boyfriend used to do that.
Silly Arkie...unicorns are magical creatures. DH is one. He keeps telling me I will get a treat if I rub his horn.

Check for the ones you need on ebay. Oh I see that HD mentioned craigslist; good idea, too. Glow had a great suggestion to go to other McD's around your area, too. Or give them a call. I like them!
Giggle, I'm the same way. And then when the boys had a complete set if one got lost I'd just as soon throw them all away. I still have a huge tote of McD's.
We have Dorothy and one of the wicked witches...not sure which one, tho. They're yours if you want 'em! Lemme know.
