First thing you will see is the painting I bought instead of paying bills when I sold my stock.

It is currently hanging directly over the bookcases I stained last weekend. (Bravie and HD, I won't be offended if you take back your request to have me finish your kitchen cabinets and table.)

Not much furniture, just a bed, quilt rack and a little table. This wall is where I want to hang the painting *points up*, but I keep forgetting to get some nails. Plus I need a stud-finder so I can make sure I put the nail in the right place.

The sun keeps this room very well lit. I like to come in here and lay on the bed to read in the afternoon on the weekends.

Some day I'm going to stick a comfy chair over in this corner.

Ohhh, very nice. Very clean. Is that the room I will be staying in when I come and visit someday? *grin*
There is one book out of place though. the tall one among the shorter ones. could you please place it on one of the ends. It messes up the flow of that row. *OCD grin*
Yes, that's the room you get to stay in, assuming you ever get your ass to TN.
It bugs me having that book there, but my OCD demands that the books be in order by publish date.
Your OCD has a problem. I know you like to keep the books in order, but that book is too tall. You need to write a nasty note to the publisher.
I love the bedroom, the bed, quilt, lamp, and bookshelves. The painting is great and would look perfect over the bookshelves. I like the white closet doors, too.
I need a stud finder too! *grin*
*hopes to one day visit arkie and stay in her lovely guest room*
You did a terrific job with the bookcases Arkie. Bravo!
LOL at the tall book out of place.
I LOVE the bed in your guest bedroom. I want one like that. I also love the closet doors.
Nutz, you're always welcome.
Thanks, Nookie. I keep thinking I'd like to see the closet doors stained a honey oak color instead of being painted.
And if ya'll keep making fun of my tall book "out of place", you're going to make me have to buy it in paperback when it is released that way. Which I have been thinking about doing anyway. It really bugs me to have most of the books in the series in one format, and then get one in another format.
Ooooooooooooh staining the closet doors would be really nice. I always prefer seeing natural wood.
