How bad do you think a few ounces of wine will mess up a keyboard? I knocked my glass over last night, all over the keyboard. So pissed off. A few of the keys are kind of sticky to use, but so far, no problems that I can't deal with. *grin*
I had so much I was going to get done today, but I woke up with a killer headache, and just haven't been able to get moving very fast. Finally took some Advil, so I'm hoping it will kick the pain fairly soon. Which brings up another question - expiration dates - how closely do you pay attention to them?

Keyboards are cheap. Wine on the other hand is expensive.
Expiration dates are suggestions in my opinion. I really don't pay attention (unless I'm trying to deside whether I should open a scary container of sour cream or just throw it out.
I was much more pissed about the waste of wine, than I was the possible loss of the keyboard.
I have a headache too. :( I always check expiration dates, especially for food products. I won't eat (or drink) anything after the date. Meds on the other hand I've been told are good for at least a year afterwards.
Sorry about the keyboard. I'm glad to see it didn't prevent you from sending me an awesome new siggy!! I haven't been able to respond via PM yet, but I will when I have a chance (when DH isn't breathing down my neck, lol!)
Arkie, I love your new siggie. I used to pay close attention to expiration dates on meds. Now I don't. Sometimes a bottle will have an expiration date a couple of years away, but the pharmacy covers it up and puts on a date one year from the date of purchase. Nice way to get more money ouf of the consumer.
If the keyboard dries out, it could be perfectly fine.
Mr. Nutz's cousin is a doctor and told me that medicine has a shelf life way past the expiration date. He said the worst that happens is it loses some of it's effectiveness. I found this out years ago when we were at his house and I needed some Advil.
I'm sure those refrigerated antibiotics and such are a different story.
The one thing I'm really obsessive about with dates is milk. Other foods seem to be OK after the date, depending on what it is.
Expiration dates? I'm supposed to pay attention to those? oooops.
As far as dairy products, I'm a stickler for the expiration date. I throw it out that day. Period. End of discussion. I tend to be that way about medicines normally. Prescription meds are thrown out, if not used before then, one year after the date filled. The Advil had an expiration date of November 2005. But it's almost a full bottle, so I didn't want to chuck it. I think it took longer to work than normal, though.
A couple of keys were sticky, so I popped them off, and cleaned up the remnants of the wine with rubbing alcohol. Seems to have worked just fine.
Thanks, Puffy - do you mean the new sig pic I started using last week, or the one I started using yesterday?
The one I meant is the yellow background-green print ARKIE. The little girl (I assume she is you) is also really cute, but the yellow and green really stands out nicely.
I'm using up some Crest Whitestrips that expired in 04. I'm not sure they are working because they don't foam like they used to.
I use so little mayonaise (Miracle Whip) that when I go to use it the expiration date is usualy a year old. Then I buy new to only discover next time I use it the expiration date is past.
